Most people reading this understand that there is a massive racial income and more importantly a massive racial wealth gap in this country. While slavery ended 155 years ago and important civil rights legislation was enacted 55 years ago, America is more racially segregated today than 100 years ago.

Decades of cultural racism combined with systemic racism at the local, state and federal level of government created urban neighborhoods filled

generational poverty with little hope in sight for many of the residents.

We can't fix what has happened in the past. But we can try to help out the victims of these actions by enabling them to purchase a good house in a good neighborhood with an fair and affordable mortgage, something that was denied to the older members of their communities and is an unreachable goal for most people living in inner city neighborhoods in Philly and so many other cities and towns throughout the country.
